The Black Watch U-15 Boys won the MAPS/MSSL Winter Classic held Dec. 5-7 in Philadelphia, PA. On Saturday the boys defeated the Montclair Bulldogs (NJ) by a score of 4-0. In the afternoon they faced a tough Baltimore SC United (MD) team tying them 1-1. Heading into their game on Sunday they would have to defeat the 5th ranked team in Region 1, Philadelphia SC Coppa (PA) to advance to the finals. The team played hard and beat PSC Coppa 2-1 to advance to the championship round. In the final game against the Ironbound Predators (NJ), the players continue their winning streak beating Ironbound 3-1 to win the MAPS/MSSL championship game. The team will travel to Phoenix, AZ in March to play in the Sereno College Showcase.
Soccer RI is looking for SPONSORS
Soccer RI is looking for SPONSORS
By unanimous vote, the Soccer RI member associations have mandated a Photo ID Pass & background check on every adult volunteer involved in Youth Soccer. Soccer RI is looking for business sponsors for each Photo ID Pass (including coaches, assistant coaches, volunteers and referees), beginning in the Fall and lasting two years. We will proudly place your logo, discount coupon or message on the backside of each PASS for the two-year period. We expect to have several thousand passes distributed this fall.
