To Register for a Release to Play Out of State
(For the Soccer Year Sept 1, 2008 through Aug 31, 2009*)
The following procedure must be followed for your child to be Released to Play Out of State:
- Before you proceed please completely read these instructions.
- Click on the “Registration & Release to Play Out of State” link below.
- Enter all information requested; if your child is registered with a Soccer Rhode Island association for the 2008/2009* soccer year please contact that association’s registrar for your child’s SRI ID number.
- Click on “Submit Registration Information” at the bottom of the application. A gray box will appear, read the contents.
- Click “OK”, a new form complete with your child’s information will populate in the next window.
- Print two copies of this form, one is for your records, the second you must sign and mail to Soccer Rhode Island along with the Out of State Registration fee printed on the top of the form. To print the form, please clear all headers and footers from your print setup and set all margins to .25”.
- Incomplete forms will be returned to the parents for completion.
At the October 2007, SRI General Council meeting the SRI Council voted that the SRI Player Insurance would no longer cover SRI Players registered and released to play out of state. For the 2008/2009 Soccer Year you must purchase player insurance from the state you are released to.
The Out of State Registration fee for the “2008/2009 soccer year”* is $15.00. The fee for the 2008/2009 soccer year* will be set on August 25, 2008. You will be billed for any increase in the fee.
