The US Youth Soccer Regional/National Championship Series is the country’s most prestigious national youth soccer tournament, providing approximately 185,000 players on over 10,000 teams from US Youth Soccer State Associations the opportunity to showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play.

The US Youth Soccer Regional/National Championships cap a yearlong series of competitions for boys and girls teams in multiple age brackets as teams earn their way from the top teams in their state to the regional championship tournaments. US Youth Soccer State Champions and selected wildcard teams through US Youth Soccer Regional Leagues in most age groups are eligible to compete in one of four US Youth Soccer Regional Championships. The champions in the 13U through 19U age brackets from each regional event will converge in July for the US Youth Soccer National Championships. 

Annually the US Youth Soccer Regional/National Championship Series provides the nation’s top collegiate coaches with the premier stage to identify and scout the most coveted players in the country. 

The Rhode Island Championship includes Boys and Girls teams in age groups 12U -19U.

First leg of the US Youth Soccer National Championships. Boys and Girls U12 – U19 Winners from the RI Championships advance to the US Youth Soccer East Region Championships.

US Youth Soccer East Region Championships

Location: Charleston & Barboursville, WV

Dates: June 27 – July 3, 2023

At the US Youth Soccer East Region Championships, the RI Champions compete against the champions from Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Western and Eastern New York, Western and  Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, West Virginia, and Virginia. 

Winners from the Boys and Girls 12U division will be East Region Champions. Winner of the US Youth Soccer East Region Championships from the U13 to U19 age groups advance to the US Youth Soccer National Championships.

US Youth Soccer National Championships

Location: Orlando, Florida

Dates: July 23 – July 28

The East Region Champions then compete against the winners from the other three US Youth Soccer Regions and the winners of the US Youth Soccer National League to be crowned the US Youth Soccer National Champions!

Registrations will close on Friday March 18, 2024 at 5pm. Schedules will be published TBD. Once published no changes can be made to the schedule unless a team withdraws. Rosters must be submitted to Soccer RI by Friday April 5, 2024 at 5pm. Rosters freeze TBD. Semi-finals/finals for the US Youth Soccer Rhode Island Championship will be played TBD at a location TBD. The withdrawal fee after schedules are published is $200.00.
 
Teams registering must be participating in a Soccer Rhode Island Member Club’s competitive program. In addition, all players, coaches, and managers must be registered with Soccer Rhode Island.
